About Us

All of the skincare products we carry at The iO Skin Shop have been vetted by our team of skincare experts and are proven to provide results. If you have any questions about a particular product, just send us an email or give us a call at 650-508-6565. Happy shopping!

Ordering Process

Online orders can be fulfilled via credit or debit card only.

At this time, we cannot accept returns on any products sold on our online store or in the office. All sales are final. No refunds will be issued after purchase.

No, all orders must be paid in full when the order is placed.

Shipping Options

We offer ground shipping through USPS and we offer in-store pickup. If your order is over $100, you will receive free shipping. If you'd like to pick your order up at The iO Clinic (999 Alma St. in Palo Alto), please click that box during checkout. We will hold your order for up to one month.

At this time, we do not ship overseas. If you’d like a recommendation for where to purchase a specific product in your country, just contact us!

If you recognize an issue with your order, please email theioclinic@fortheface.com or call (650) 508-6565 as soon as possible. In your email, please include your name and order number. We will try our best to amend your order, but cannot guarantee that it will be modified.

The iO Clinic will process and ship your products the same day that you order. Depending on where you live, you will receive your products within a few days. We will email you if there is an unexpected delay.

Product Specifications

Not everything….
Products With Prescriptions: We cannot sell medical-grade skincare products that require a prescription on our online shop. If you already have a prescription on file with us, please call us to have the product shipped to you: at 650-508-6565.
Dermaquest Dermaclear: We only sell Dermaquest Dermaclear in our office but we can ship it to you if you call us and pay over the phone.
SkinMedica: All SkinMedica products can be purchased on our SkinMedica Shop so that you can earn and use your Alle points.

Pricing is the same, but we do charge a $10 flat shipping fee for orders under $100. We do at times offer discount codes that you may apply online at checkout. If The iO Clinic is offering a promo on a product, the discount will automatically be included in your online purchase.

Of course! If you’d like a full skin evaluation with product recommendations, please contact The iO Clinic! In order to get the most comprehensive skincare consultation, we invite you to make an appointment for a complimentary consultation with one of our estheticians! However, if you are unable come in, our estheticians are able to meet over Zoom. For information on either, please call 650-508-6565.

Each product is uniquely designed for certain skin types. Please find our sensitive skin recommendations here.

No, children under the age of 16 should not use medical-grade skincare without speaking to a licensed esthetician beforehand.
