SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF is a daytime antioxidant serum built for skin where discoloration is the primary concern. It combines 10% pure vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) with 0.5% ferulic acid and 2% phloretin, an antioxidant that also interrupts pigment formation.

Phloretin is what distinguishes it from C E Ferulic. Where the classic formula prioritizes broad antioxidant defense and fine lines, this one adds a targeted pigment mechanism, making it the better choice for sun spots, melasma, post-inflammatory marks, and generally mottled tone.

The texture is lighter and less emollient than C E Ferulic, which normal, combination, and oily skin tend to prefer. Like all SkinCeuticals antioxidant serums, it remains effective in the skin for a minimum of 72 hours after application.

1. Cleanse and dry your skin completely.
2. In the morning, apply 4 to 5 drops to your face, neck, and chest.
3. Press in with your fingertips and allow 60 seconds to absorb.
4. Follow with moisturizer, then a broad spectrum sunscreen. Choose a tinted mineral SPF if you are treating melasma.
5. Use once each morning.

Store upright, away from heat and light. A gradual shift toward amber is normal; discard if the serum turns dark brown.
