SkinCeuticals Silymarin CF is an oil-free antioxidant serum formulated specifically for oily and blemish-prone skin. It combines 15% pure vitamin C, 0.5% ferulic acid, and 0.5% salicylic acid with silymarin, an antioxidant derived from milk thistle.

Silymarin addresses a problem specific to oily skin: sebum oxidation. When skin oil is exposed to UV and pollution it oxidizes, and oxidized sebum contributes to both breakouts and the dull, sallow tone that oily skin often develops. Standard vitamin C serums do not address it.

The salicylic acid provides mild ongoing exfoliation inside pores, helping refine the look of pore size and texture. The texture is completely oil-free and dries down without shine, which is what makes it wearable on skin that rejects most serums.

1. Cleanse and dry your skin completely.
2. In the morning, apply 4 to 5 drops to your face, neck, and chest.
3. Press in and allow it to absorb fully before moving on.
4. Follow with an oil-free moisturizer, then a broad spectrum sunscreen.
5. Use once each morning.

If you already use a prescription acne treatment, introduce this every other morning at first and confirm the combination with your provider.
