Alastin - Restorative Eye Treatment

Alastin Restorative Eye Treatment is an award-winning eye cream formulated for the thinnest skin on the face. The skin around the eye is roughly a third the thickness of facial skin, has fewer oil glands, and moves constantly. It shows loss of elastin and collagen earlier and more visibly than anywhere else, which is why a dedicated formulation is worth the extra step.

The texture is light enough to sit under concealer without creasing, and the formula is hypoallergenic and appropriate for all skin types.

1. After cleansing, dispense a small amount, roughly the size of a grain of rice for both eyes.
2. Use your ring finger and tap gently along the orbital bone, the bony ridge around the eye socket.
3. Apply morning and evening. Do not apply to the lash line or inside the orbital rim; product migrates upward on its own.
4. Allow it to absorb fully before applying concealer.

Less is more here. Over-application is a common cause of milia and morning puffiness around the eyes.

Honest guidance on eye creams: they do good work on texture, crepiness, fine lines, and the pigment-driven type of dark circle. They do not correct hollowing, fat pad descent, or the shadow cast by loose skin, because those are structural and no topical reaches them.

So it is worth identifying which dark circle you have. Press gently under the eye. If the darkness is a shadow that changes with the light, it is structural and better addressed with filler or surgery. If the discoloration stays when you stretch the skin, it is pigment, and this product will help.
