Alastin - Soothe + Protect Recovery Balm

Alastin Soothe + Protect Recovery Balm is a barrier balm made for skin that has just been treated. After laser resurfacing, microneedling, a chemical peel, or any procedure that disrupts the skin surface, the immediate priority is protection and moisture retention, not active ingredients.

This balm restores the skin's natural barrier function, holds water in, and calms the tightness and discomfort of the early recovery window. It is deliberately simple: soothing, hydrating, and occlusive, without the actives that would sting or irritate compromised skin.

Beyond procedures, it also works well on any skin that is temporarily over-treated, wind-burned, or reacting to a retinoid ramp-up.

1. After your procedure, apply a thin layer to the treated area as often as needed for comfort, typically 3 to 5 times a day.
2. Apply it over Regenerating Skin Nectar if your provider has instructed you to use both.
3. Continue until your skin is no longer tight, flaking, or uncomfortable, usually 5 to 10 days depending on the procedure.
4. Resume your normal routine only when your provider clears you.
