SkinCeuticals Glycolic 10 Renew Overnight is a resurfacing night cream with 10% free glycolic acid, formulated at an optimized pH so that the acid is genuinely active rather than partially neutralized, which is a common shortcut in over-the-counter acid products.

Glycolic acid loosens the bonds between dull surface cells, which improves the look of texture, radiance, and uneven tone. The formula includes a soothing complex with phytic acid and aloe to offset the irritation that free glycolic acid at this strength would otherwise cause.

It is an overnight treatment used two to three times a week initially, building as tolerated. Like all acid products, it increases sun sensitivity, so daily broad spectrum sunscreen is not optional while you use it.

1. At night, cleanse and dry your skin completely.
2. Apply a thin, even layer to your face, avoiding the eye area, the corners of the nose, and the lip line.
3. Start with two nights a week. Increase to three or four as tolerated, up to nightly only if your skin is comfortable.
4. Follow with a moisturizer if needed.
5. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen every morning without exception.

Do not use on the same night as a retinoid. Alternate nights instead. Pause use for several days before and after peels, laser treatments, or waxing.
