The choice of magnesium oxide matters. The crystals are uniformly shaped and dissolve as you use them, so they exfoliate without the micro-tears caused by jagged natural particles such as crushed shells or fruit pits. They also wash away completely, leaving skin instantly soft rather than gritty.

1. Apply to damp skin one to three times per week.
2. Massage gently in small circles for 30 to 60 seconds. Let the crystals do the work; pressure causes irritation, not results.
3. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.
4. Follow with your serum and moisturizer.

Do not use on the same day as an acid treatment, peel pads, or a retinoid. Pause before and after peels, laser treatments, or waxing.

Physical exfoliants have a poor reputation, largely earned by products using crushed shells and fruit pits, which have jagged edges and create micro-tears in the skin. A uniformly shaped, dissolving crystal is a different proposition, and this one is well made.
